There are several attractions in Skegness for small children, but because my children are all too old for these attractions, (youngest is 13 years old now) I’m afraid I can’t give an in depth review for fun things to keep your toddlers happy during your holiday in Skegness.

I hate to give the usual blurb about an attraction, you know the type of information, seen through rose coloured glasses making out this is the best attraction since sliced bread, which never helps anyone let alone visitors with children to Skegness, you always find they are never true :-(

That’s why my reviews come from a first hand experience of a Skegness Attraction, I like to give a truthful and honest run down of an attractions (the good, the bad and the ugly) and I hope that’s what makes the Skegness Attractions Reviews unique.

What I will do is give you a run down of the attractions in Skegness specifically for the little people in your group, but if anyone has first hand experience of these attractions I would appreciate a quick review either good or bad about attractions for young children.

I’m sorry I can’t help further.

Skegness Soft Play Areas

Pandas Palace
Pandas Palace is found on Tower Esplanade next to the Jolly Roger crazy golf course

Suncastle Soft Play
There’s a soft play area in the Suncastle on North Parade next to Natureland seal sanctuary

Captain Kids Soft Play
Captain Kids is found in the Pier Arcade, adults aren’t allowed in the soft play area, it’s for kids only, There is an area for toddlers separate from the main play area, but I don’t know if adults are allowed or a member of staff looks after them.

I always hated soft play areas when my kids where small. I’m a bit of a fidget bum so I get bored easily waiting for my kids, I never took my kids to a soft play areas that I wasn’t allowed to play in as well :-)

They really should have soft play areas for families and older kids, here’s hoping :-)

Captain kids is on two floors in the center of the Pier arcade. There is a space in the middle of the soft play area for adults to sit and refreshments can be bought

Captain Kids is open every day during the summer and any other school holidays from 10am until the evening.

Out of season, opening times are more variable, so please ring for details on 01754 760600.

They will however, open especially for you at any time if you would like to book a party for 10 or more children.

Captain Kids Admission prices are £4.10 per child aged 5 and over, £2.80 under 5’s. Adults free.

Sessions are only timed when Captain Kids is particularly busy.

Skegness Play Parks

Little Rascals
Little Rascals is found at the back of Bottons Pleasure Beach, the Little Rascals Play Area has a big inflatable slide, 2 bouncy castles, traditional swing boats, small trikes and a sand pit with bucket and spades. Adults and older children are not allowed on the attractions within Little Rascals kiddies play area. This Skegness Kiddies Attraction is particularly harsh on adults, all there is for parents to do is sit on two rows of patio chairs in the middle of the play area, there’s not even a cafe so you can’t pass the time with a cup of coffee.

Kiddies Corner
Kiddies Corner can be found on South Parade, there is a place to eat and have a cup a tea at the Kiddies Corner, as well as a couple of benches to sit on.

Kiddies Corner Prices: £4.00 per child for an all day pass (you can leave and then come back) Adults are Free.
