Why have they cancelled the fireworks this year we come very year and enjoy it

Was in the process of trying to find the date/time for this years Bottons fireworks display and your comment came through.

Saves me a phone call as wasn’t finding anything about it online and we have no more information on this than anyone else: it’s funny to read the comments when the commenter assumes this webpage is run by Bottons :-)

Anyway, quite a surprise they’ve cancelled it. With the Pound weakening (foreign holidays cost more) because of the Brexit vote, Skegness had a really good year in 2016: we’ve lived here over 10 years, never seen this many people on the beach!

The tourist board confirmed to me today 06/09/2016 that the firework display has been cancelled this year. What a shame its a great attraction that brings lots of people to this town.
